Emergency Relief provided to Residents of Mason and Deerfield Township
FAITH provides emergency relief to eligible individuals and families with:
- Rent
- Utility bills
- Prescription drugs
- Food (Kroger grocery/gas card)
- School clothing
The assistance provded by FAITH has limitations in terms of the allowed amounts and how often that assistance can be provided to qualified individuals and families. These limitations will be discussed in interviews with clients at the time they apply for aid.
FAITH also offers counseling through the Ohio Benefits Bank (OBB) program and will help clients determine what state assistance programs that they may be qualified to receive (including food stamps).
Client Eligibility
Only Individuals and families who are residents of Mason, Deerfield Township, or South Lebanon in Ohio are eligble for assistance from FAITH Ministries (proof of residency is required when requesting services through FAITH).
Students in need of clothing must be attending the Mason or Kings School Districts and have a recommendation from their School Counselor.
Kroger grocery/gas card recipients must present proof that they are currently receiving SNAP (Food Stamp) benefits. The Ohio Benefit Bank volunteers at FAITH can help clients determine if they are eligible and apply for Food Stamps while they are visiting FAITH
Individuals and families who need help with rent , utility or prescription drugs must present eviction notices, shutoff notices, or valid prescriptions.
